Privacy Policy
Purpose and scope
RealWebData Knowledge Publisher is a private desktop utility operated solely by its owner. It publishes selected project documentation from the owner’s local computer to a dedicated folder in the owner’s Google Drive.
Google user data accessed
The utility uses the Google Drive API with the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file scope. It accesses only files and folders created by or explicitly used with the utility. It does not request general access to unrelated Google Drive content, Gmail, contacts, calendars, or other Google services.
How data is used
Google user data is used only to create, locate, update, and organize the owner’s RealWebData knowledge documents in Google Drive. It is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics, or any unrelated purpose.
Storage and security
OAuth credentials and authorization tokens are stored locally on the owner’s computer with restricted filesystem permissions. The utility has no external application server or user database. Published documents remain in the owner’s Google Drive and are governed by the owner’s Google Drive permissions.
Sharing and disclosure
The utility does not sell, rent, transfer, or disclose Google user data to third parties. Documents may be accessed by services the owner independently connects to Google Drive, subject to the permissions and policies the owner configures with those services.
Retention and deletion
Published documents remain in Google Drive until the owner deletes them. Local authorization can be removed by deleting the local token or revoking the application’s access in the owner’s Google Account security settings.
Google API Services User Data Policy
The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
